Who is responsible for your data

Hrachya Hovhannisyan IE, operating HCyprus, decides how your personal data is used and is responsible for it. Contact details are at the bottom of this page.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

  • Account details: first and last name, email address, optional phone number, your preferred ways to be contacted, and your password (stored only as a one-way hash, never in readable form).
  • Request details: when you send a price request or inquiry — your name, email, phone, message, and the dates, number of guests and hotel, tour, package, property or visa details you ask about.
  • Browsing convenience: if you are signed in, the hotels you recently viewed, so we can show them back to you.
  • Technical data: standard information such as IP address and browser type that our hosting provider processes to deliver and secure the site.

Why we use it

We use your data to:

  • answer your requests and arrange the services you ask for;
  • create and secure your account, including sending you a verification code;
  • contact you about your request through the channels you prefer;
  • meet our legal and accounting obligations and protect the site against abuse.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed to fulfil your request with the hotels, tour operators and other suppliers involved. We also use service providers for hosting, our database and email delivery, and they process data on our behalf. We may disclose data if the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and local storage

We use a strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage to remember your light/dark theme choice. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account is open, and request data for as long as we need it to handle your request and keep proper records. After that we delete or anonymise it.

Security and transfers

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including hashed passwords and encrypted connections. Our service providers may process data in other countries; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy of it, and withdraw consent you have given. To use any of these rights, contact us. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

HCyprus is not intended for people under 16, and bookings must be made by adults.
