Kourion, founded around 1200 BC on a cliff 70 meters high, has well-preserved house foundations, Roman baths with mosaic floors, and an amphitheater seating 2,000 that still hosts performances today. Next is the mountain village of Omodos, home to the Monastery of the Holy Cross, founded by St. Helena, which holds a fragment of the True Cross, followed by wine tasting and browsing local silverware and lace.
